Vietnam law firm Asia Counsel has hired Phong Nguyen, formerly of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where he was a senior associate for eight years, as a partner in Ho Chi Minh City.
With almost two decades of experience, Nguyen advises foreign investors on their projects in Vietnam across various industries including education, healthcare, consumer products, fintech, and insurance. Focusing on corporate and M&A transactions, financial services and cross-border financing transactions, he also advises in arbitration matters.
