ANM Global has promoted Anushree Rauta, head of its media and entertainment practice, to equity partnership at the firm. She joined the law firm in 2018 and has helped ANM Global to become one of the leading law firms in the M&E sector.
Rauta currently represents some of the most prominent over-the-top television platforms, studios, broadcasters, production houses, talent management companies, music labels, publishers, content aggregators, celebrities, e-commerce platforms, distributors, animation companies, event organisers and trade associations.
“In the past four years since Anushree joined us, we have phenomenally scaled up the media and entertainment practice of the firm. This equity partnership is a new phase for the firm and a step towards achieving newer heights,” founder and managing partner Nidhish Mehrotra said.
ANM Global has decided to broaden its equity base beyond the founder’s stake in a bid to expand the firm’s business. Earlier this year, intellectual property boutique law firm Literati Juris merged with ANM Global.
