Anjie Broad adds four partners in three offices with Mark Yang in Xiamen, Deng Yanyan and Kuang Heng in Shenzhen, and Wei Xueping in Nanjing.

Yang, formerly a partner at Wang Jing & Co, specialises in maritime, cross-border investment and M&A, dispute resolution, and international trade. He has extensive experience in dealing with various maritime accident cases and major incidents for domestic and international ship owners, protection and indemnity associations and insurance companies.

Yang was involved in the AMIN2 ship mortgage dispute and the foreign arbitration recognition and enforcement of the ship Glory Comfort, which were listed by the Supreme People’s Court as typical cases of maritime trials of the year.

With 16 years of experience in legal practice, Deng specialises in corporate compliance, dispute resolution, intellectual property, and corporate and commercial practice. She provided retained legal services to financial institutions and Internet and high-tech companies.

Kuang is an expert in private wealth management and oversaw the compliance and risk control for the family foundation of the actual controller of a listed company. He advises on planning personal will, marital property deeds, family wealth inheritance and other non-contentious legal services in family matters.

Having provided legal services for nearly 10 years, Wei has extensive experience in cross-border investment and M&A, international trade, corporate compliance, and dispute resolution.
