Boutique IP law firm Inttl Advocare has opened a new office in Kolkata, which has been operational since 1 January 2026.

Senior associate Pragya Jain will initially lead the Kolkata office. She works on trademark opposition, litigation, design law, and copyright matters, and helps clients protect and enforce their intellectual property.

Inttl Advocare now has offices across key legal and commercial centres in India, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata.

The firm has a strong practice in IP prosecution and enforcement. It also advises on allied and emerging areas such as IT, telecoms, media, and select corporate services. The firm also advises on IP prosecution and litigation across India and neighbouring nations such as Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Pakistan as well as the Maldives.

“Our presence in Kolkata gives us the opportunity to work closely with clients across eastern and northeastern India, while also contributing to the strengthening of the local IP sector. Being on the ground helps us develop deeper relationships, respond swiftly to client needs and offer the same level of dedicated service that Inttl Advocare has always stood for,” said Hemant Singh, founder and managing partner.
