The Association of Corporate Counsel Hong Kong (ACCHK) is hosting an exclusive lunch session on 18 March themed “Managing your ethics and compliance programme through volatility”.
The event, to be held at the Mandarin Oriental, is a response to organisations facing strict global enforcement and evolving regulatory frameworks, and aims to equip businesses with strategies to effectively manage changes in the new regulatory landscape.
Julian Fenwick, managing director and founder of Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) Solutions, will lead the discussion. The focus will be on key issues such as adapting compliance programmes to rapidly changing global regulations and understanding the impact of new legislation on procedures.
Key highlights include dissecting the UK’s “failure to prevent fraud” offence under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act, and exploring Australia’s recent “failure to prevent bribery” legislation.
Participants can learn how to leverage data analytics to build a resilient compliance culture aligning with global trends.
The session will also offer insights on staying ahead of regulatory developments and ensuring compliance programmes effectively mitigate enforcement risks.
