GEN Law Firm has recently expanded its intellectual property team with the addition of partner Lu Liang who will be practising at the Beijing office.
Lu specialises in IP litigation and non-litigation, advising clients on copyright, trademark and administrative IP protection. He also has extensive experience in commercial dispute resolution. Before joining GEN, he worked at JunHe for 12 years with clients primarily in the internet, automotive, retail, technology and gaming industries.
In 2016, Lu had represented BMW in a trademark infringement and unfair competition dispute against Shanghai Chuangjia Clothing, Dema Group and Zhou Leqin. The Shanghai Intellectual Property Court recognised it as the landmark case of the year.
