Business process and technology management services company Sutherland Global Services has signed an agreement to acquire Apollo Health Street, a provider of healthcare business services and health information technology-based solutions.
The deal is worth approximately ₹10 billion (US$182 million).
Apollo Health Street, an associate company of Apollo Hospitals, supports the operations of US hospitals, physicians and health plans and also addresses the challenges and opportunities created by US healthcare reforms. Sutherland was set up in 1986 and has over 30,000 employees globally across 35 centres in the US, the Philippines, India, the UAE, Egypt, Bulgaria, the UK, Canada, Jamaica, Mexico and Colombia.
