Meenal Maheshwari Shah has joined fintech company Angel One as group general counsel, bringing more than 14 years of diverse experience to the team.
Shah’s expertise involves managing diverse legal transactions, adeptly navigating complex legal environments, and offering insightful counsel on legal, policy and regulatory matters.
“Leveraging my experience, I look forward to navigating complex legal landscapes, fostering a culture of compliance and contributing to the company’s ongoing success,” said Shah on her appointment.
She has provided legal counsel to companies both in India and internationally.
In her new role, Shah will be improvising and reframing the company’s legal and policy frameworks. A seasoned legal strategist, she has collaborated closely with businesses, focusing on development and implementation of efficient processes and policies to establish corporate structures and governance models.
Shah has moved from venture-building and investment firm LemmaTree where she served as group legal director and data protection officer. Before LemmaTree, she worked at the Essar Group and Times of India. Before transitioning as an in-house counsel, Shah practised law at Khaitan & Co.
