Dentons Link Legal and S&R Associates has assisted on the sale of a majority stake in Vasant Chemicals to the International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG) for an undisclosed amount.
Partner Sanjeev Adlakha and counsel Kanika Khanna, including associate Vinayaditya Reddy, led the S&R team, which represented Vasant and its shareholders. Dentons Link Legal represented ICIG.
Headquartered in Germany and Luxembourg, ICIG is a privately owned industrial group with sales in excess of EUR4.6 billion (USD5.03 billion) and more than 6,200 employees worldwide.
Vasant Chemicals, headquartered in Hyderabad city in India, has more than 40 years of industry expertise. Vasant will be incorporated into ICIG’s WeylChem Group aligning with its growth strategy in the global specialty chemicals market.
Vasant Chemicals operates state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Hyderabad (Jeedimetla) and Visakhapatnam (Atchutapuram), focusing on the production of specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical intermediates.
