Juris Prime has opened a new office in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh as well as adding partners Satya Venkat Rao and Vivek Chaudhary who have corporate advisory and project finance expertise.

Rao, who will be the residential partner at Juris Prime’s Visakhapatnam office, recently retired as deputy managing director of the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). He has a 32-year career in banking, finance, project finance, corporate advisory and litigation. Previously, he served as executive director of the IFCI, a public financial institution, before joining the SIDBI.
