The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Hong Kong has welcomed four new additions to its board of directors after an annual general meeting on 17 June at the SAP offices in the city.
The new members are Ann Leung, APAC head of corporate and commercial legal at money brokerage house BGC Partners; Fiona Chiu, general counsel and company secretary at a Hong Kong-based investment holding firm First Pacific Company; Priscilla Piergoelam, lead senior legal counsel, legal content and digitisation at cloud services at software company SAP; and Winnie Tse, senior legal counsel at oil company Sinopec Century Bright Capital Investment.
“Thank you for your various contributions to our ACC community,” Kat Kukreja, the president of the ACC Hong Kong, told the new board members. “I am excited to be working alongside you to further strengthen our ties with the in-house community and broader legal profession in Hong Kong.”
The meeting also announced the departure of four board members: Sharyn Ch’ang, PwC’s Asia-Pacific NewLaw director and former president of the ACC Hong Kong; Aedzer Oreel, lead counsel, labour and employment (Asia-Pacific) at multinational chemical company LyondellBasel, who previously served as vice president of the association; Davyd Wong, special counsel at Hong Kong law firm YTL; and Vincent Ng, general counsel and head of public affairs at leisure booking platform Klook.
Along with other board directors, the new members will manage the ACC Hong Kong, as well as plan and organise social events, seminars and conferences to further the association’s objectives.
