The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) has launched the entry process for the fifth Graduate Insolvency Programme (GIP). The GIP reduces the time to become an insolvency professional to two years.
Entrance tests will be conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs and the National Law Institute University, Bhopal.
Applications can be made online until 27 April 2023. The entrance test will be held in May 2023. IBBI chairperson Ravi Mital said the expertise and impartiality of insolvency professionals were essential for building trust in the process and restoring the confidence of stakeholders.
He said the GIP had enabled the past two batches to achieve 100% placements in leading companies in the insolvency and bankruptcy domain, in India and overseas.
