King Stubb and Kasiva (KSK) has opened an office in Mangalore making it the first corporate law firm to set up shop in the city.
“Our decision of establishing an office in the city is a part of our larger strategic goals,” said Aurelia Menezes, a partner at the firm, who is also managing the Mangalore office.
“We always follow our clients,” said Jidesh Kumar, managing partner at KSK who attributes the move to the government’s “robust policy”.
“We’ve been operating in eight metros and this is our first foray into a tier 2 city. (It) is reflective of the gradual social and economic change … and also the acceptance and welcoming of the need for good quality professional legal services by companies and other stakeholders.”
KSK also has offices in New Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata and Pune.
