The 2013 Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot took place in Frankfurt from 24 to 26 October. The event is intended to help future lawyers gain a practical understanding of disputes that arise between host countries and foreign investors. Such disputes typically involve large sums of money and complex issues including international investment treaties, international investment contracts and internationalized procedures for resolving related disputes, all taking place at the juncture of national and international law and policy.
