Hylands Law Firm has welcomed Gao Qingchao, Han Aili and Jiang Ruipeng to the Beijing office as partners, bolstering its dispute resolution capabilities.

Gao, who formerly practised at Shi Yin Law Firm and Chui Yin Law Firm, specialises in criminal and dispute resolution. With nine years of experience working in the courts, Gao has extensive knowledge of corruption and bribery cases. During his time at the Intermediate People’s Court, Gao handled the bribery cases involving the former deputy director of the Coal Department of the National Energy Administration and the former party secretary and chairman of China Telecom Group Corporation.

Han, who was the founding and managing partner at Geyun Law Firm, brings more than 20 years of experience in Beijing’s procuratorate system. Her expertise lies in the operational processes of criminal cases, criminal compliance and criminal risk prevention and control.

Jiang, formerly from Haiwen & Partners, specialises in practice areas including commercial dispute resolution, bankruptcy and special asset disposal.
