Stratage Law Partners advised Sky Gate Hospitality, the parent company of Biryani By Kilo, in its acquisition of a majority stake in healthy dessert startup Get-A-Whey for INR166 million (USD2 million).
Apart from advising on the acquisition, the team also assisted with negotiations, drafting and finalising the transaction documents, and assisting in signing and closing the deal.
The team from Stratage comprised managing partner Darshan Upadhyay, senior associate Mehak Gupta and associates Sanjana Bhasin and Nehal Baldwa.
Get-A-Whey is engaged in the business of manufacturing, sale and distribution of low-calorie ice creams, vegan ice creams and other related products.
