Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) recruits Rohan Jain and Kshitij Arora as partners, along with their team, to boost its corporate practice at the firm’s Delhi-NCR office.

Jain and Arora were both previously partners at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. Their team comprises two associates and a senior associate.

“The move to Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas was driven by the opportunity to be part of a strong institutional platform with a broad corporate practice and significant cross-practice and sector capabilities,” Jain told India Business Law Journal.

“My focus is to further strengthen the M&A and general corporate practice, deepen client relationships and contribute to the tirm’s domestic and cross-border capabilities.”

Jain regularly advises multinational corporations, private equity funds, sovereign investors and global conglomerates on the legal, regulatory and strategic considerations involved in investments into and from India.

On his career trajectory, Jain told IBLJ, “I have over 15 years of experience advising on corporate and transactional matters, including domestic and cross-border M&A, joint ventures and strategic transactions. Over the years, I have advised Indian and international corporates, promoters and financial investors across a range of sectors.”

Arora brings more than 11 years of experience to CAM, advising large corporates, global conglomerates and private equity investors on complex, high-value transactions across diverse sectors.

His transactional practice covers the structuring, negotiation and execution of domestic and cross-border M&A, including both inbound and outbound transactions, as well as joint ventures, private equity investments, debt funding through the external commercial borrowings route and market-entry strategies.
