Welcoming a “post-pandemic” re-opening, the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA)’s Women Chapter kicked off an in-person networking event on 17 May to catch up with fellow women lawyers from the Law Society of Singapore’s Women in Practice Committee.

“We are pleased to have collaborated with the Singapore Law Society’s Women in Practice Committee for a wonderful night of friendship, fun and drinks,” Renita Sophia Crasta, the SCCA Women Chapter’s co-head, told Asia Business Law Journal.

“Many participants commented on how they were appreciative to catch up or connect with each other even within the fraternity after a prolonged pandemic period, and expressed great enthusiasm for the different events that both committees will be putting forward in coming days.”

More than 50 women gathered at the evening event titled “Women in Law Reopening Party” at One Fullerton’s OverEasy restaurant, overlooking the Marina Bay Central Business District area. The networking event will be one of many planned throughout the year for women lawyers.
