Saraf and Partners has seen significant changes with the addition of five senior partners and welcoming on board boutique real estate concern SRGR Law Offices.

Saroj Kumar Jha and Ravi Bishnoi, who have close to three decades of experience, co-founded SRGR Law Offices in 2009. Both Jha and Bishnoi will be joining Saraf and Partners as equity partners along with their team of 20 in the real estate practice.

Saraf and Partners has a pan-India real estate practice and has built a strong reputation. The firm now boasts a total strength of nearly 200, including 32 partners across its offices in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Talking about the synergy, Mohit Saraf, founder and managing partner of Saraf and Partners, said, “SRGR’s deep expertise in real estate will be a valuable addition and we will be better poised to offer an entire gamut of real estate services from start to finish under one roof to our clients.”

Jha further added that SRGR will add to the growth trajectory of Saraf and Partners as they look forward to the new partnership.

The firm also announced the promotion of partners Sanjeev Sharma, Vikrant Kumar, Bikash Jhawar, Manmeet Singh and Vaibhav Kakkar as senior partners.

Sharma is a skilled litigator with close to three decades of experience in handling complex commercial litigation, arbitration, constitutional and administrative law litigation and regulatory proceedings before statutory authorities, tribunals, and courts representing clients in high stakes disputes across various industries.

Kumar, a partner in Saraf’s Bengaluru office, is a transactional lawyer with more than a decade of experience specialising in cross-border transactions.

Jhawar is a leading banking and finance lawyer who has more than two decades of experience, representing clients in numerous high-profile cases with a deep understanding of the banking sector. He advises financial institutions, multinational banks, multilateral lending agencies with respect to financing of various infrastructure projects, structured finance, debt restructuring etc.

Singh is part of the disputes and insolvency practice at Saraf with more than a decade of professional experience in high-value commercial litigation, arbitration and insolvency matters.

Kakkar is a leading expert in corporate and M&A with two decades of diversified experience, ranging from leading numerous large ticket M&A transactions, and extensive advisory on multifarious issues involving corporate and commercial agreements, joint ventures, private equity, and technology matters.
