Mayer Brown has added four partners – Lu Guiping, Philip Hyde, Bonnie Yung and Jason Wang – to its corporate and securities practice in Hong Kong from leading international and local firms.
Lu and Hyde, along with their debt capital markets team, joined from K&L Gates, where they were partners. Lu focuses on international debt market transactions and advises on high-yield bond offerings.
With more than 25 years of experience, Hyde advises on debt capital markets, structured finance, derivatives, and securitisation transactions, with a particular focus on advising trustees.
Yung and Wang joined from LC Lawyers, the Hong Kong law firm member of the EY global network, and were both previously at Paul Hastings. Yung has experience in general corporate matters and corporate finance transactions. Wang has acted on Hong Kong IPOs, large-scale cross-border M&A, private equity investments, post-IPO fund raising and corporate compliance matters.
