Introduction

Amit Aggarwal heads the corporate practice of the firm and has a specialisation in banking & finance, M&A and capital markets. He specialises in structured finance transactions and handled transactions, which fall within the domain of external commercial borrowings, G3 bonds, domestic bond issuances, project finance, acquisition finance, asset finance, trade finance, real estate financing, security creation, unlisted debt, private banking and general banking products.

He works with fund houses, financial institutions such as alternate investment funds, private equity funds, distressed asset and special opportunity funds, etc. As a lead partner, he has also worked on many government disinvestment transactions as well as various IPOs and QIPs. He is known to present solutions for complex structuring related issues and able to use this as expertise in M&A transactions.
