Gide Loyrette Nouel (GLN) has assisted Soluxe International, a subsidiary of China Huayou Group Corporation which in turn is owned by China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), on its US$150 million construction and development of the Soluxe International Industrial Zone in Chad.
The project is the largest foreign investment project in Chad in recent years. It will consist of a hotel complex in Ndjamena and an industrial zone in Djarmaya comprising a gas bottle plant, a polypropylene material plant, a purified water plant, a liquid petroleum plant, office buildings, apartment buildings and other infrastructure.
Headquartered in China, Soluxe International endeavours to improve the logistics services at overseas sites being exploited by CNPC. Its business encompasses catering and logistics, hotels and tourism, construction and engineering, commerce and trade, technical oilfield engineering services and oilfield chemical additives.
