Philippine law firm Martinez Vergara Gonzalez & Serrano (MVGS) has joined Drew Network Asia (DNA), a regional legal alliance comprised of Singapore’s Drew & Napier, Malaysia’s Shearn Delamore & Co, and Indonesia’s Makarim & Taira S, and established in March 2020.
Metro Manila-based MVGS was established in 2007 by partners Eduardo Martinez, Mark Vergara, Manuel Gonzalez and Elmer Serrano. The firm provides legal services in banking and finance, capital markets, M&A, projects and energy, IP, litigation and alternative dispute resolution, labour and employment and immigration.
“Joining the alliance enables us to expand our professional services in the region,” said Gonzalez.
This latest addition expands DNA’s regional footprint to more than 480 fee earners and 150 partners in four countries. The network operates as a one-stop shop in handling complex and time sensitive multi-jurisdictional transactions or disputes seamlessly. While remaining independent, it runs as a “firm of firms”.
