Richard Qiang has joined DaHui Lawyers as a Beijing-based partner – the third to be taken on as partner by the firm this month.
Qiang, who is qualified to practice in China and New York State, specialises in cross-border M&A and compliance business. He moves to DaHui from Allen & Overy.
Qiang has represented Chinese mining and energy companies acquiring billion-dollar assets in South America, Europe and Africa, and advised multinationals on Chinese data and cyber security compliance. He has recently acted as counsel on M&A security matters for foreign investment projects.
