Introduction

Zhang Le specializes in securitisation and structured finance, banking wealth management, insurance asset management, private equity and financial markets regulation, as well as focusing on supply chain finance. In recent years, Zhang has led or participated in many securitisation projects, advising clients on a wide array of underlying assets including account receivables settled by bank trade finance products, negotiable instruments, supply-chain finance, factoring, financial leasing, consumer finance, charge rights over infrastructure and CMBS and REITs.

In recent years, Zhang has been focusing on asset management and has a profound understanding of the needs and culture of financial institutions and the pain points and difficulties in business transformation since the issuing of new PRC rules of asset management.  While promoting legal profession innovation, Zhang was invited to advise on formulating and amending industry standards and regulatory rules by the industry association and the financial regulator.

In 2019, Zhang was recognised as a Lawyer of Outstanding Contribution by the China Securitisation Research Institute. In 2020, Zhang was named as a leading lawyer in the category of banking and finance in Asia by the Legal 500. Also in November 2020, Zhang was engaged as an external expert by the China Credit Assets Registration and Exchange. Zhang was nominated as an Outstanding Contribution Person in 2019 and 2020 at the China Commercial Factoring Summit.
