Introduction

Wang Lingqi specialises in commercial dispute resolution and restructuring and insolvency, particularly matters with cross-border elements. As litigation and arbitration counsel for corporations, private equity firms, hedge funds and financial institutions, Lingqi handles significant commercial cases, including disputes involving buyout/minority investment, joint ventures, corporate control, contract, and other complex commercial matters.

In areas of restructuring and insolvency, Lingqi regularly acts as a court-appointed administrator or counsel for shareholders, debtors, creditors and restructuring sponsors in large, complex cases of out-of-court restructuring, liquidation, reorganisation and involuntary dissolution. In cross-border insolvency, he recently represented insolvency administrators, foreign liquidators and creditors in high-profile restructuring cases including Shanghai CEFC, Peking Founder Group, Brilliance Auto Group, HNA Group, Huishan Diary (06863.HK), Huachen Energy, Shandong Yuhuang, FDG Electric Vehicles (00729.HK), etc.
