Introduction

Koby Zhang joined AllBright Law Offices in 2016 and has become one of the youngest senior partners at the law firm to date. Currently, Zhang is the director of the New Social Class Association of Nanjing City, vice president of the Employment Social Intermediary Organisation chapter, vice president of the Nanjing Junior Chamber of Commerce, vice president of the Jianye branch of the Nanjing Lawyers Association, deputy director of the financial and insurance legal business committee of Jiangsu Lawyers Association, director of the Jiangsu Trustee in Bankruptcy Association, a lawyer of Jiangsu Finance, Securities and Insurance professional lawyer talent pool, director of the creditors’ examination committee of Nanjing Trustee in Bankruptcy Association, and deputy director of the participation in government affairs committee of Nanjing Lawyers Association.

Zhang focuses on legal services for financial asset management, dispute resolution, mergers and reorganisation, and bankruptcy reorganisation. He works as a legal adviser for government institutions, as well as many domestic and foreign-listed companies, well-known enterprises and financial institutions. He has handled a number of litigation and non-litigation cases, which have had influence in their respective provinces and cities, and even across the country. In the field of financial asset management, Zhang has provided a full range of legal services for more than 1,000 trust plans, asset management plans and private fund products.

Zhang has a solid foundation for legal texts and legal theories, and has excellent logical thinking, research ability and court debating ability in dispute resolution. His professional and efficient legal services have won the praise of clients. In addition, he is enthusiastic about legal services for public welfare and charitable trusts, and actively assumes social responsibility.

Zhang won the titles of: 2020 LEGALBAND China Top 15 Lawyers – Rising Partner; 2020 Jiemian Top 100 Lawyers – Rising Lawyer; Excellent Financial and Insurance Lawyers of Nanjing Lawyers Association in 2019; and Top 10 Young Lawyers of Nanjing from 2016-2018. He also received a commendation and recognition by the Youth Olympic Organising Committee as a core member of the legal service team of the second Summer Youth Olympic Games.
