Introduction

Zhu Zheng is a senior partner at AllBright and her practice focuses on securities and capital markets, M&A, corporate compliance, cross-border investment, and international arbitration.

Zhu has represented clients in their IPOs, M&A, restructuring, bond issues and equity incentive projects, including representing a state-owned company’s RMB3 billion M&A/reorganisation project, and a real estate company’s RMB1.5 billion share purchase project. Her representative clients include government bodies, multinational corporations and Chinese stated-owned enterprises.

Zhu has extensive experience in both foreign investment in China and Chinese outbound investment. She has represented several Fortune 500 listed companies on their investment in China, including Siemens, Samsung, Bosch, Coca-Cola, Ford, ABB, Vertiv (Emerson), and Newsoft. She has also advised both state-owned companies and private business on their overseas investments in the US, Australia, Belarus, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Vietnam, Malaysia, etc.

Zhu also has in-depth experience with international dispute resolution, has represented clients on trade disputes against counterparties from Egypt and the UK, and also represented a Chinese state-owned company in a share purchase dispute in Europe.
