Introduction

Zhang Baojun is managing partner at Kangda Law Firm. His law practice concentrates on the areas of defence of financial and securities crimes, criminal compliance, mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolution in financial and securities, private equity investment, real estate, and construction engineering. Zhang has been committed to research on criminal cases and risk prevention, dispute resolution, and criminal compliance in the capital market for a long time, and has represented a number of cases with large amounts and significant influence in the industry.

Among his other activities, Zhang is the deputy director of the criminal procedure law professional committee of the Beijing Lawyers Association; a mediator of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) Mediation Centre; the fifth and sixth directors of the China Behaviour-Law Association; a special commentator for China National Radio (CNR); and an arbitrator of the Beihai Arbitration Commission and Beihai Court of International Arbitration. He also served as an independent director of BTG Hotels Group from 2011 to 2017.
