Introduction

McKenzie is the managing partner of Anthony McKenzie’s Singapore office and head of the firm’s corporate practice in Asia. He advises on both Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands law, and has a broad range of experience in corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, preference share issues, IPOs and capital markets transactions.

McKenzie regularly advises financial institutions, sponsors and borrowers on leveraged and acquisition finance, syndicated lending, structured finance, fund finance, and secured and unsecured general corporate lending.

He also has significant experience in advising clients on the structuring, formation and maintenance of regulated and unregulated investment funds in the BVI and Cayman Islands.
He was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia in 2002, as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2006, as an attorney-at-law in the Cayman Islands in 2007, and as a solicitor of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (BVI) in 2014.
