Baker McKenzie FenXun has rehired capital markets specialist Yang Yingfei, who left the firm in 2020 after 10 years to join Puman Asia Capital as a partner and chief operating officer.
Yang is known for equity capital markets and debt capital markets transactions, domestic and overseas securities offerings, listings of Chinese enterprises, acquisition and reorganisation of listed companies, foreign direct investment and general corporate matters.
Yang’s return comes at a time when Chinese companies are increasingly looking to raise funds onshore and the HKEX plans to introduce more A-share products, according to the press release. Baker McKenzie FenXun intends to bolster its practice through Yang’s experience.
