The latest international law firm to turn to India for legal assistance is Eversheds, which in August signed a deal to outsource a range of low-end legal tasks to reduce expenses.
The British-based law firm already outsources some legal work offshore to South Africa, in particular to Routledge Modise.
The new outsourcing strategy will, according to the firm, free up the time of its London-based paralegals by sending tasks such as document reviewing and low-level drafting to India.
