Job Description
Our client, a Fortune Global 500 corporation, is seeking a Head of Data Privacy based in Singapore. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for managing data privacy compliance across their business and operations across 35 countries spanning Asia and Middle East and beyond. Your key duties will involve advising business leaders and stakeholders on data privacy risks and obligations under existing, new, and potential data privacy requirements.
Job Requirements
- The ideal candidate should be a US, UK, or Commonwealth-qualified lawyer with proven experience in legal and compliance-related roles, possessing a solid knowledge of data privacy regulations and practices, including GDPR-compliant programs, across the specified regions.
- Additionally, candidates should exhibit strong interpersonal skills in a multinational environment and have extensive experience managing cross-border projects with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. REF: 17113/VTE
