Introduction
Suthisarnsuntorn is a senior partner and the head of corporate and commercial practice of Pisut & Partners.
Following his graduation from Thammasat University (LLB) in 2006 and Chulalongkorn University (LLM Business Law, International Programme) in 2007, Suthisarnsuntorn started practising law in late 2007 at a boutique commercial law firm in Bangkok. He subsequently joined the then Bangkok office of Deacons in mid-2009 and, through hard work and dedication, he eventually made partner in 2016 at the age of just 31. Suthisarnsuntorn joined Pisut & Partners in 2019 to once again team up with Pisut Rakwong, his former colleague at Deacons who created the new firm in 2016. Since then, Suthisarnsuntorn became a key member of the firm, leading the team and guiding clients through numerous transactions and complicated legal landscape in Thailand.
Over the years, Suthisarnsuntorn has accumulated substantial experience advising multinational and local companies on a wide variety of corporate and commercial issues including foreign direct investment regulations, investment promotion schemes, legal due diligence, M&A, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, hospitality and real estate development, zoning regulations, industrial regulations (factories, warehouses, chemical control, etc), import and export restrictions, labour and employment, cross-border transactions, commercial contracts, project finances, exchange control regulations, government licensing, consumer protection, trade competition (antitrust), anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, corporate governance, data protection, and other regulatory matters. He also from time to time assists clients in their internal compliance investigations and audits by working closely with foreign counsel of the clients as well as their internal legal and compliance departments.
Apart from being included in Asia Business Law Journal’s latest list of Thailand’s top 100 lawyers, Suthisarnsuntorn was also recently recognised by Asian Legal Business of Thomson Reuters as one of Thailand Rising Stars based on demonstrated great potential in the industry and high praise from his clients.
