Liu Shen & Associates welcomes back Zhang Huawei to its team, with the new partner strengthening the firm’s ability to provide services in international and intellectual property rights law.
The Tokyo-based Zhang is equipped with China legal qualifications. As a certified patent attorney both in China and Japan, he specialises in making Office Action responses and dealing with patent invalidation and analysis.
Zhang first joined Liu Shen in 2012 and moved to Japan four years later. He worked at Eikoh Patent Firm where he was responsible for handling Japan’s patent and trademark matters and advised Japanese clients on China’s intellectual property rights law.
In 2020, Zhang joined CLS Hibiya Tokyo Law Office as a paralegal where he dealt with infringement cases involving China’s intellectual property rights law.
