Wu Tingting

Introduction

Wu Tingting is an international counsel based in the Shanghai office of Debevoise & Plimpton, a leading US law firm.

Recommended by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific (2021) and named in China Business Law Journal’s A-List (2022), Wu represents both Chinese and multinational companies in a broad range of transactions including cross-border M&A, joint ventures, asset management, IPOs, and compliance with US securities laws and regulations. She has extensive experience in the Chinese insurance industry, and many of the largest insurers in the world are clients of hers, including China Life, China Pacific Life, AIA, Prudential Financial, and American Insurance Group.

Wu received her LLM from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law and an LLB and BA from the University of Science & Technology of China. She is admitted to practise as an attorney in New York and qualified in the PRC.

Wu’s native language is Mandarin, and she is fluent in English.
