Introduction

Wu Bin is the managing partner of Shanghai Landing Law Offices. He holds key roles such as the director of the National Dispute Resolution Professional Committee at Landing, and a committee member of the 10th Network and High-Tech Business Committee of the All China Lawyers Association. He serves as an arbitrator in multiple arbitration institutions in Shanghai, Nanjing and Changsha. Wu is also a part-time master’s supervisor at prestigious institutions, including East China University of Political Science and Law, East China University of Science and Technology, and Shanghai University of Political Science and Law.

Wu’s legal acumen has been recognised in the “2020 Deals of the Year” report by China Business Law Journal, and he prominently featured in the 2023 Chambers Greater China Region Corporate/Commercial (Shanghai) list. His discourses extend to core law journals like Legal Studies and East Law Review.

Wu has adeptly handled numerous pivotal and complex disputes, resulting in substantial benefits for clients, reducing losses by hundreds of millions of renminbi. Examples include resolving legal issues in a development project, addressing land transfer and fair competition matters for a landmark project, and handling disputes related to investment co-operation, land-use rights transfer, and ground-breaking cases like the “First Case of China’s Electronic Invoices”. His expertise extends to equity disputes, liquidity support contract disputes, urban renewal project disputes, and corporate control disputes for a fund subsidiary, earning widespread client recognition.
