Tian Shaoqing

Introduction

Tian Shaoqing is the lead partner and senior partner at Lantai Partners’ real estate and infrastructure team. She is a postgraduate practice tutor at Beijing Technology and Business University. Tian won the 2023 ALB China Client Choice award and was twice invited as a guest speaker on the “Civil Code Interpretation and Reading” for Beijing Radio and Television Station. Tian graduated from Renmin University of China in July 2011 with a postgraduate certificate and a Juris Master. In her more than ten years in Lantai, Tian has continuously researched the fields of real estate and infrastructure, banking and non-performing asset disposal, leading the team to be recognised in the Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific and China Dispute Resolution Awards for two consecutive years (2022 and 2023) in the field of construction.

Since joining the practice, Tian has always stayed in the front line, leading, hosting, participating, and/or representing over hundreds of projects and cases, serving numerous representative large central and state-owned enterprises in the industry. These include the renovation project of Winter Olympics venue the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest), the preliminary project of the HOPE installation project at the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (which has been included in the 14th Five-Year Plan), the historical legacy property disposal project of a subsidiary enterprise of China Aerospace Science and Industry Group, and multiple litigation cases handled before the Supreme People’s Court and high courts. Tian has been described by clients as “upright, humble, diligent, rigorous, meticulous, and comprehensive in her work”. She has a strong sense of responsibility, profound insight and keen responsiveness. She is good at communication, and focuses on exploring her clients’ real service needs and expected results.
