Tapan Pati joins Godrej & Boyce, a flagship company of the Godrej Group, as its senior vice president and general counsel, leading a legal team comprising 31 lawyers.
Pati has 23 years of experience advising multinational companies in various sectors, including manufacturing, food, hospitality, retail and pharmaceuticals.
He has also handled corporate and commercial transactions, legal compliances, and litigation across South Asia, and has worked closely with senior business leaders in various functions and jurisdictions.
Prior to Godrej, Pati led the legal practice for Johnson & Johnson’s pharmaceutical business and was previously the head of legal and advisory at three US-headquartered multinational companies operating in India.
