Stephenson Harwood has enhanced its Asia-Pacific corporate practice with the addition of Amy Yu as a partner in Hong Kong.

Yu brings with her a wealth of experience in equity capital markets and M&A, further fortifying the firm’s presence in the region. She has a distinguished track record in advising on initial public offerings (IPOs), public and private M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and regulatory compliance.

Evangeline Quek, managing partner at Stephenson Harwood, said: “Yu’s experience and skill set will add greater depth to our regional M&A practice and strengthen our IPO [capabilities]. Her practice will fit seamlessly with other corporate team members and she will be an invaluable addition as the practice continues to grow.”

Tom Nicholls, global head of corporate at Stephenson Harwood, highlighted the strategic importance of Yu’s addition in advancing the firm’s goals in the Asia-Pacific region. “The addition of a lawyer of Yu’s calibre, with her expertise advising on high-profile IPOs and M&A transactions, greatly enhances the support we can provide to our clients in the region,” he affirmed.
