Shihui Partners has hired dispute resolution specialist Wang Huikai to beef up the Shanghai team’s capabilities.
Wang has years of experience in handling cases on commercial dispute resolution, non-performing assets settlement, as well as bankruptcy and restructuring. He is also equipped to advise on criminal and administrative dispute resolution.
Financial organisations like banks, insurance companies and securities companies have sought assistance from Wang on criminal and civil cases, regulatory compliance and non-performing assets settlement.
Listed and large-scale companies are also among Wang’s list of clients, and he has advised them on insolvency and restructuring, conciliation and liquidation by acting as an administrator or an agent for debtors and investors.
Before beginning his career with Shihui, Wang spent three years with Haiwen & Partners since 2016. During this tenure, Wang worked on commercial and labour litigation and arbitration cases, as well as acting as a compliance counsel for multinational companies.
Wang then joined King & Wood Mallesons’ Shanghai office in 2019 where he continued to focus on commercial litigation. Three years later he returned to Haiwen, and joined Shihui this year.
