I read with interest your cover article, Beating a retreat? in the September issue of India Business Law Journal. As a prominent publisher in the legal industry in Asia, I found your references to other Asian markets particularly telling. India’s long established legal fraternity may correct me, but isn’t this issue one in which India could easily lead the way in Asia, providing the template for other nations including South Korea, China and Indonesia as they strive to improve accessibility and financial incentives for foreign firms?
