Bangalore has long been recognized as India’s information technology capital. But over the past few years the city, which made its name as a base for companies looking outwards to international markets, has emerged as a hub for companies that serve the Indian consumer.
A November 2014 study by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India found the city is home to the largest number of the country’s 50 fastest growing technology companies.
