Quisumbing Torres promotes four lawyers to partnership

Philippine law firm Quisumbing Torres (QT) has promoted four lawyers to the firm’s partnership. The new partners are drawn from the corporate & commercial, dispute resolution, intellectual property and tax practice groups.

Ina Alexandra Dominguez, from corporate & commercial, has 10 years of experience advising domestic and foreign clients on issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, commercial law, real estate, mining and natural resources law, energy, and infrastructure projects.

Michael Macapagal, who focuses on disputes, has 10 years of legal practice involving arbitration, construction, healthcare disputes, compliance, civil and criminal litigation, labour law, intellectual property law, public private partnerships and project finance.

Reena Mitra-Ventanilla, who works in intellectual property, has about 12 years of experience handling IP rights management, prosecution, litigation, and enforcement. She also practiced civil, criminal, labour and maritime laws.

Kristine Anne Mercado-Tamayo has 12 years of experience assisting clients on tax issues involving corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and other cross-border transactions. She advocates on clients’ behalf in controversies involving disputed tax assessments, representing clients before the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
