Private equity expert Daniel Dusek has joined Goodwin in Hong Kong as a partner in its global private equity practice after spending six years with Kirkland & Ellis’ office in the city as a partner. He previously worked with Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom as a partner in the Beijing and Hong Kong offices where he had been a partner since 2008.
Dusek has more than 20 years of experience advising private equity investors and corporations on their investments, divestments and strategic transactions across a broad range of industries and cross-border corporate matters, including M&A, disposals, auctions, and private equity and leveraged buyouts, take-privates, spin-offs and joint ventures. He has strong relationships with some of the most prominent investment managers in the region.
During the past 12 months, Goodwin has been revamping its private equity practice in Hong Kong with the arrival of partners Edwin Chan, Phil Culhane and Elyn Xing.
