Norton Rose Fulbright has hired corporate, M&A and securities lawyer Isamu “Sam” Inohara as a partner in its Tokyo office.
Inohara, who focuses on complex cross-border M&A, has significant international experience and joins the firm from Morrison & Foerster’s Tokyo team.
Inohara has nearly two decades’ experience advising global Japanese and US-based companies on major cross-border acquisitions in various sectors including financial institutions, transportation and technology.
“Sam’s capabilities complement what our team offers and will allow us to gain more of the surging outbound Japanese M&A business,” said George Gibson, Norton Rose Fulbright’s Head of Tokyo.
“His cross-border deal experience boosts our ability to execute inbound and outbound M&A transactions, especially involving the US and Europe.”
