Ma Yuan

Introduction

Ma Yuan holds a master’s degree in engineering from Tianjing University, and has 15 years of experience in the field of intellectual property. Ma has served as a patent examiner at the communication division of the Patent Reexamination Board of the China National Intellectual Property Administration for around 10 years. Ma’s professional background and dedication ensure her accurate understanding and professional judgment of legal rules.

Ma has a strong technical background in communication. As an IP litigator, she has served many multinational corporations, unicorns and domestic listed companies in hundreds of IP litigations in the fields of electronics, communication, automobile, new energy, chemical industry, etc. Ma has rich and comprehensive experience particularly in IP litigation involving the electronics and communication industry.

Ma was awarded “The A-List Legal Elite” of the China market in 2022 by China Business Law Journal, and recognised as one of the “Top 15 IP Lawyers” in China in 2023 by Legalband.
