Introduction
Lyu Xin is an equity partner of the Dispute Resolution Department of Tian Yuan Law Firm. He graduated from China University of Political Science and Law with a Master of Laws degree. Prior to joining Tian Yuan, Lyu had been engaged in dispute resolution and corporate legal affairs for a long time, working in a well-known arbitration institution and large state-owned enterprises. With his diverse background, Lyu has extensive experience in arbitration, contract management, corporate compliance, investment and financing, construction, and handling of complex cases. Leveraging his good communication skills and understanding of law, finance, investment, financing, auditing and disciplinary inspection, Lyu can identify clients’ business needs and decision-making challenges and formulate thorough legal strategies and tactical manoeuvres to navigate cases. He has a proven track record of advising on high-profile litigation, arbitration and transaction projects for clients such as CMOC Group, VNET Group, General Technology Group and Cinda Asset Management Company.
He deftly handles complex litigation matters across areas like equity investment, construction and real estate, trade and more. Lyu also provides counselling on risk mitigation, debt restructuring, investment and financing, transfer of state-owned assets, bankruptcy and liquidation, reorganisation, and other businesses.
Lyu has also presided over more than 100 arbitration cases involving construction, equity transfer, sale and purchase, and lease for various institutions. He has been lauded for his efficiency, meticulousness, commercially minded mediation, well-reasoned awards, and fair results. Lyu’s arbitrator experience has instilled in him an in-depth understanding of dispute resolution rules and methods to guide his legal team in preparing air-tight cases and forecast adjudicator perspectives to collect evidence and formulate winning litigation or arbitration strategies and plans for his clients.
