Introduction
Liu Jianwei holds an LLB degree from Peking University and LLM degrees from Temple University and China University of Political Science and Law. He joined Zhong Lun Law Firm in 2004 and is now an equity partner, overseeing the international trade practice.
With a remarkable career spanning 30 years in the realm of international trade, 18 of which as a seasoned attorney, Liu’s extensive experience is centered primarily on the forefront of anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and safeguard investigations initiated by various jurisdictions including the EU, the US, Canada, Australia and India against imports from Chinese domestic industries across machinery, steel, chemicals, textiles, etc. Liu has been pivotal in representing Chinese government and trade associations in orchestrating industry defenses and WTO dispute resolution cases. His clientele includes major state-owned and industry-leading enterprises.
