Liang Shuang

Introduction

Liang Shuang is the director and managing partner of Grandall Law Firm (Tianjin). Her main practice areas are banking and finance, capital markets, company law and government legal services. Liang has 15 years of legal experience in northern China and she was awarded the title of China Outstanding Lawyer by the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China. She was rated as one of the leading lawyers in the financial and enterprise fields of China’s regional legal market by IFLR1000 China for two consecutive years, and was credited as a Band 2 practitioner in the corporate/commercial field for Tianjin in the 2022 and 2023 Chambers Greater China Region rankings. Liang published the book Key Points and Practical Guidelines for IPO Registration Examination.

Among her other activities, Liang was employed as the evaluation expert of the Expert Committee for civil administrative litigation supervision of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate; the deputy director of the Financial Professional Committee of the All China Lawyers Association; a member of the 15th Committee of Tianjin Heping District of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; a member of Tianjin’s expert database for comprehensively governing the city according to the law; a member of the talent think tank for case evaluation of the Tianjin Municipal Commission of Politics and Law; the specially invited mediator of the Tianjin Higher People’s Court; the law enforcement supervisor of the Tianjin Heping District People’s Court; the director of the Financial Professional Committee of the Tianjin Lawyers Association; the director of the Heping District Working Committee of the Tianjin Lawyers Association; the vice chairman of the Tianjin Heping District Federation of Industry and Commerce; and a member of the first batch of professionals in Tianjin’s third-party supervision and assessment mechanism for compliance of enterprises involved in cases.

Liang is engaged in non-litigation legal services such as enterprise IPOs, refinancing, major asset restructuring, investment and financing for M&A, and disposal of non-performing assets, as well as major corporate commercial litigation and arbitration legal services.
